Easter Day 2012

So we had Easter with family the week before but we decided to stay home and celebrate Easter together. We got baskets for each other but I wasn't feeling good that morning so we didn't open our baskets til later after church. Check out some cute pics..

Easter Egg Time

So because everyone was up for the weekend of General Conference we decided to do an Easter Egg Hunt. We did one with my family out in the backyard with all of the girls and stuff. This year we did something new. I really like the idea and hope that we can continue it. We I found Melissa's service egg. She had written dinner and a movie - Girl's night out!! Chris wrote that the person who found his egg could name their next child. I don't think that Julie really liked that idea. My service was that I would shape and pluck the recipients eyebrows. Julie found mine and I think that she is really excited!! :-) So I really like the idea.. a good way to bring some service into the Easter celebration.
It was the first year that Jake really kind of got into the Egg Hunt. At my Mom's they hid some on the side of the yard just for Roxy and Jake. At Shaun's family we just took some of the eggs that Jake's Grandma Cathy filled for him and hid them around the Family Room. He was so cute getting the eggs and then realized they had candy in them and then just shook the eggs open to get the candy in his mouth as fast as possible. He was really cute. I can't wait for next year and then he will really get into it.
They both got clothes from Aunt Cindy and Uncle Matt, G-pa and Gma Scoffield, and Opa and Gma Phillips. They got some really cute outfits.. I'll have to post pictures when it gets a little warmer and they can wear them..

Savannah is 3 months old!!

My baby girl is now 3 months old. It's kind of crazy how fast time has passed. She is such a cutie pie and so chunky. Jake was always so skinny so it's kinda fun to have a chunky chic!! She caught Shaun's head cold this past week and has been super congested and it makes me want to cry when I hear her wheezy breathing. But she is still such a happy baby and it doesn't seem to really bother her too much. She has the best smile and the cutest laugh. She is really strong and already starting to try and sit up. She sits in the bumbo really well. Jake loves his little sister as of now. I'm waiting to see what happens in a couple of months when she starts trying to take his toys away!! I love my baby girl!! She makes me so happy.
