Tiffany's Baby Shower

My cousin is due June 21st but will be induced on the 14th, the day before my birthday, so she will probably be born on my birthday!! Naturally, I had to throw the shower for my future birthday buddy. I had a lot of fun trying to be crafty. We played some really fun games. They were a little different than normal baby shower games so I think that everyone had a good time!!! Can't wait to meet my future (hopefully) birthday buddy!!

I didn't get a picture with all the food on the table but everything was really yummy. The big pink cone was turned into a donut tree with some donut holes.

The drink table: We had yummy juices and milk. You haven't ever tried the Simply Apple Juice brand.. you should!! It's yummy.. Not quite Apple Hill status but almost there!

Candy guessing game and name suggestion table

Tiff and her Mom and sisters

She got some really adorable clothes

Spencer had to help open the presents of course!

Almost everyone that came to the shower!!

We love to wrestle & dress up!!!

Easter Weekend

I have to admit that I have been TERRIBLE at taking pictures lately. I went to California last week to visit family and had every intention of taking a ton of pictures. But, my kids were sick almost the whole time we were there, so I didn't get as many pictures as I hoped. We did manage to do a couple of fun things even with all the sickness and we had a good time. We pretty much laid low Sunday - Wednesday. Then Thursday we went to Fairy Tale Town but I don't have any pictures because I couldn't find my camera.. Boo!! My Dad took pics so I'll have to see if I can get some from him. The kids had a lot of fun. Jake loved the train of course and Savvy just liked being free to run!

While Savvy was sick she pretty much just laid on everyone, especially Bella. It was kind of cute even though she smelled like dog all the time. :-) When Lacey got there, they pretty much switched off bugging Bella. Bella was so good though; I think she secretly really liked all of the attention even though it wore her out!

Her new outfit from Grandma Cathy. It's so adorable. At her 15 month check-up the doctor said that she is still in the 95th percentile for her height. I'm wondering if she can keep that up and maybe join her Aunt Tori in the ranks of tall women. I think she likes it so far because she can reach things that I forget she can reach as evidenced in this picture. She grabbed one of Lindsay's sugar cookies off the counter. I didn't even notice until she was walking around eating it.

Jake also has some snatching skills. He grabbed a cookie after he saw Savannah with one. He's sporting his new Lighting McQueen hat that Grandma Phillips got him. He's obsessed with hats. He won't leave the house, usually, without one. It's fine with me; then I don't have to do his hair! Other things Jake is obsessed with right now: Batman (we get DVD's from the library), Spiderman, Turtles, Mickey Mouse, Trains, and Waffles!

I saw this picture and wanted to cry. She's getting so big. What happened to my baby?

Jake was super cute with his cousin, Lacey. He would give her kisses and hugs. He fought with Roxy most of the week but every morning he would wake up and start yelling Roxy's name until he found her! I think that they will be good friends. I hope!

At Fairy Tale Town, Jake fell down and scraped his chin. I swear that kid is always hurting himself in some way.

On Friday, I went to the dentist and finished getting the rest of my fillings and then went and saw The Host. It was a really intriguing story so I had to read the book. I had meant to read it a couple of times but never had the time. I just finished it and the book was better of course but I kind of like watching the movie first and then reading the book to fill in the details. It made it easier to understand the things they changed from the book to the movie. Anyways, I would go see it if you are debating. It isn't like the best movie made ever but the story is really interesting.

We did all of our Easter stuff on Friday since we were going home Saturday. It was fun to see Jake actually go and find eggs this year. Usually I have to drag him around and help him find eggs. This time he knew exactly what he was supposed to do. It was a lot of fun. Savvy, on the other hand, would get one egg and try to open it and forgot about all the other eggs around her. It will be a lot of fun next year because they both will know what they are doing!

We had a pretty fun vacation despite all of the sickies. Savvy got her backpack (she was always trying to take Jake's and they would fight over it all the time). Both of them were spoiled like crazy by all their Grandparents. I got a ride with my friend her in Vegas because her Mom lives in Elk Grove too and I was joking with her that I going home with twice as much stuff as I came with. I'm glad there was room in the car.
