JULY HAPPENINGS

Ok.... I know that I'm a slacker.. I promise to try and stay caught up... I know some of you like to read about what's going on in our lives... (Shaunna!) :-) Quite a few things happened in July so I'll just go through them briefly... Hope you enjoy!!!

At the beginning of the month we had a family reunion for Shaun's Mom's side up in Tahoe!!! I didn't get very many pictures sadly but it was a lot of fun. We stayed in a sweet cabin and had a blast hanging out at the lake. Jake really likes the water except for when it's cold.. go figure.. :-) But he had a lot of fun playing in the sand.. of course I didn't get a picture of that. :-(
The only bummer of that trip was he got sick towards the end. I think he was teething again. He had a pretty high fever and was super out of it. We couldn't get him to smile during the pictures but the pics that Shaun's cousin Morgan took turned out pretty good anyways.

Ok.. so I don't have those family pictures downloaded on this computer yet.. They are on Shaun's ... so when I get a chance I'll get on and add them to this post.

Jakey's new passion is "helping" me unload the dishwasher. He likes to grab the silverware and play with it. I have to be careful to make sure that there aren't any knives in the silverware basket.

Later that month Shaunna and her husband Chris came into town and we had a lot of fun. The girls had a spa and jewelry-making night... We had sooo much fun.. getting our hair cut.. getting massages and pedicures, and making really cute earrings. It was fun to have some bonding time. The boys went and played golf and had burgers and shakes. They had fun too... even though they aren't really golfers!! :-) And then we went to a Giants game!! They lost but it was still a lot of fun.. Shaun and I took the BART down to San Fran and Jake was super cute interacting with all the people on the BART. He was in a really good mood.. Smiling and laughing and talking to all the people. He did really well during the game.. I was super surprised. He didn't get really grumpy and even though it was cold he was a trooper. Shaun gave up his sweatshirt and Jake looked pretty cute.. My camera died and I don't have a picture of that.. I'm so unprepared!! Sad.. But we had a really fun time!!
